For Sale ~ Breeding List
It feels as if show season has just ended, but kidding season is already just around the corner! The does are bred and the kid pens are waiting. Check out our breeding list to see what we have planned for next year!
This past summer we attended the Mega Buck Show, the REDGA Memorial Doe Show, the HDGC Spring Show, the Placerville Two Day Show, the Curry County Fair, Humboldt County Fair, and Mendocino County Fair. We earned two championship legs and two Best In Shows with our LaMancha herdsire, GCH RDR Tuscan Teramo, and two championship legs with our Nubian doe, GCH RDR Elizabeth
The LaMancha Senior does definitely held their own this summer as well. Both GCH RDR Farm Camille and GCH RDR Macaca won the Champion Challenge class, going Best Of Breed, with Camille also earning Best Udder in Show and Best Doe in Show. Our younger does, RDR Teramo's Twilight and RDR Frenzy's Jamaica both did very well, with Jamaica going Best of Breed and earning a leg and Twilight earning two championship legs this summer.
Our LaMancha Junior Does have also done well, with several earning their dry legs, including RDR Chalupa's Trieste, RDR All to the Moon, RDR All Sevilla, RDR All Mangabey, RDR Samson's Charisma, and RDR Torino's Pienza, along with 5 Reserve Junior Champions on RDR All Avalon and 2 Reserves on RDR Samson's Silver Star. RDR Chalupa's Trieste and RDR Torino's Pienze were both Best Junior Doe in Show.
Our Nubians have shown very well, with GCH RDR Elizabeth earning a Reserve Senior Champion to her paternal half-sister, GCH RDR Psyche, and two championship legs. Our Nubian Junior Does have also done well, with RDR WTW Snickers, RDR WTW Matilda, and RDR Shadow's Isabella all earning their dry legs. RDR WTW Matilda was also Best Junior Doe in Show multiple times this summer.
I am currently working on revising the website so that each individual doe's page includes show records, milk records, and pictures at several ages. This is somewhat a process, but keep checking back to see how its coming!
